Water Pressure Boosters

Any opinions... My house has about 40 psi and about 4-5 Gallons Per Minute... Never really bothered me, but I had a sprinkler system put in the front, and the lack of water pressure has been a huge challenge -- it's resolved now, but as I look to the future, I'm trying to figure out the best way to increase my water pressure...

40 psi is plenty for any house. Most of the time its not the psi but the volume. A lot of the houses are piped with 1/2inch. If you came out of the water meter with 3/4 and continued that run until you came to an outlet and then reduced it to 1/2 so you could put your fittings on then you would not notice any drop in the line pressure when you have 2 or more things on at once. Then you see the volume can keep up with the pressure. do you see what i'm getting at??
