Baking chocolate and eating chocolate supposedly aren't equal. I think it's baking chocolate is more toxic to dogs than the candy bars we eat, or in my case the Bon-Bons. LOL I think there is a vet tech on the list maybe they can clear this up? Sheresa

You guys are doing a terrific job on this chocolate issue, so I kept my mouth shut!! LOL Yes, baking chocolate has a higher concentration of Theobromine than milk chocolate, or candy bars. So a little baking chocolate can be more serious than a candy bar. Ultimately it depends on the size/weight of the dog. Most dogs I've seen that raid Easter baskets, and Christmas candies have a horrible upset tummy. Lisa
