Time-Life Repair Series ??
Another quick question, does anyone here use the Time-Life Home Repair series of books? I was wondering if they are any good for people new to do-it-yourself. Thanks again! Peggy

Peggy, The Time-Life books are good. I have their Paint and Wallpaper, Security Systems, and Decks, Porches, and Patios. I also have a lot of Sunset books which I think are usually cheaper, but also good. My Sunset plumbing and wiring boods are well worn. For the economy minded, these types of books can often be found at thrift stores. Gary
