Table Top Problem
I need some help desperately. I have an Oak Dining Room Table. Recently I was trying to put together a jigsaw puzzle on it, and I had left a Glass with a small amount of water on it. Somehow during the night it was knocked over by our cat. The back of some of the puzzle pieces has left green all over the table top. Does anyone have any idea how to get the green off with out having to re-finish it??? My wife is not the happiest right now. Would Goo Gone work on this?? Please, Please Help. Tim: Don't...repeat..don't use Goo Gone. You'll end up refinishing the entire table top. It seems pretty obvious that whatever was in the puzzle was water-based. I like the idea of bleach, but first, I would try taking a hot water-soaked cloth and pressing it down on the stain. Leave it there until the stain is soaked up. You may have to do this several times. Hope this helps. Hugh
Try toothpaste
