Round head vs. clipped head?
Hi, I'm researching framing nailers, and I'm wondering what the difference is between a clipped head and a round head framing nailer? What is your preference? I've used a round head before, but never a clipped head. I'm leaning towards the Dewalt brand - any suggestions? Thanks, Shane
As already mentioned some building codes will no longer allow clipped head nails. With that in mind I bought a Porter Cable FR350 which shoots a round head. It had gotten great reviews from sites I checked and also a friend recommended it. I got mine reconditioned from Amazon Tools and it is in excellent shape with a full warranty. Robert
