ROOF LEAK

HELP! How do I repair a small leak in my shingle (asphalt) roof? Going into the attic @ the site of the leak is not an option, there's a cathedral ceiling there. I am broke, and need some advice. Thanks! Bett

    First, find the leak. Where it's coming out is not the problem; water can get into the shingles, wick itself under the felt membrane, and come out somewhere completely different. Then squirt some wet-or-dry roof cement (Henry calls it 208 Wet Patch Roof Cement) from a caulking tube into the leak. Stops it right up. -- --jmowreader
