house photos
Hi all, I have just sent the address of my album to DIY. ' Belgian farms ' are a few old places near us. Some of the owners are friends of ours. ' House ' is our house. Shots were taken last July. I will update them soon. ' New fireplace ' Thats shots in sequence of a new fire being fitted in our lounge. It was one of those jobs , where you buy the fire and they fit it. I have put some photos of my old pile of bricks up on the site. It occured to me that many of you newer members may have not seen them. Outside is pretty well finished , however there is a little paintwork on the front gables to do.All the original oak window frames have been restored and new glass put in. I have also removed the 50's brick turrets of the terrace roof. I am now thinking of putting u psome kind of railing to finish it off. Just so that I do not fall off when I am sipping a gin and tonic. I now have to do some landscaping ( bulldozer would help ) on the land. I have 100 chickens coming in four weeks time so some fencing is required as well. I took the photos today , its a lovely crisp winters day. I always ask the question........does my house remind you of anything you have seen before ? I know Dales answer , what do the rest of you think ? Is it a style you have seen before ? Kevin Wallonia
