electric water heaters
I just went to have a shower and theres no hot water....we have an electric water heater, what could be the problem? If I cant deal with it I will probably call my dad over to look at it tomorrow.....of course I feel grungier than ever knowing I cant have a shower! LOL Brenda
Well, Dad came over right away and then told me to call our dealer ( its a rental water heater) so they're coming in the morning....apparently me not having a shower is not an emergency......we'll see when the guy has to smell me tomorrow! LOLOLOLOL...... Oh I did find out its a propane heater not electric......and yes we have propane, first thing I checked. Brenda
Just picking up on a thread about these heaters. I still have one of these heaters. I say still , as when I moved in to this house , I vowed to get it removed. That was three years back. They are without doubt the most expensive way of heating water. Mine comes on at 10pm through until the early hours. It then provides enough hot water for the day ( just ) It has a 250 litre capacity. I wonder if I am leaving this thing on for to long ? Any ideas folks ? How long does it take to bring up to tempature ? One day I will work out its consumption and its perecentage cost of the electric bill. When I have done this I will probably rip it out the next morning. I would like to have solar power for the heating , but the initial cost is still pretty high. Kevin.
