[DIY] Which is the best water heater?

I neglected to mention that I'm looking for an electric heater. Sorry about that. Unfortunately, we don't have any gas hook-ups in my area. I live in Houston TX. Mike

    The bottom line is that you should find the least expensive 12-year-warranty water heater you can, since they'll be either A.O. Smith or one of the probably 40 brands that are actually house-branded Rheems, and be happy. -- --jmowreader
