With all the talk about hairspray and wasps, I thought I would remind people of a solution for getting rid of flying bugs. Spray them with hairspray, either kind but I prefer spray as I have arthritis, and spray the bug in mid air.. You prevent their wings from movemnet and they drop. Easy way to get those pesky Millers that are just sneaking in lately here in Denver. Lisa
More reasons that my husband is a bigger trouble maker than most kids. While trying to kill a fly in our bathroom one day, he found out that hair spray imobilizes them, but that they are not dead yet. The little bugger fell into the tub where my hubby drenched it in hairspray and then proceded to lite the bug on fire. flaming pyre of fly in my tub, another fun mess to clean up. Looking back on it , i am thankful that i prefer the pump version, or i might have been doing remodeling back then. sara
