discount vinyl shutters
Does anyone have a source to reccommend for discount vinyl shutters? I am looking for the louvered type, paintable in 18" x 59.5". I found a price on line of around $150 for 2 pair. Is that the going rate? Dave Dazer

I don't know about on line but I just purchased 15x 55 at Home Depot for $23 per pair. They won't have 591/2 but they have 60 inch. Later, Jayne
Hi all, How are those power paint sprayers? I've heard reviews from the "best thing since sliced bread" to "threw it in the garbage after 15 minutes." How have your experiences been with them, what brand and model did you get? I don't want to spend more than $150 or so. I have a bunch of interior and exterior shutters to paint. My first job will be painting 5 windows worth of interior wood shutters purchased on ebay. I've painted shutters with a brush before and I don't think I want to do that again. I just got globs everywhere trying to get into the louvers. It took forever and I wasn't happy with my crappy paint job. I have um...10 exterior shutters to paint either this fall or next spring. Not looking forward to that job either :-P Any tips on painting shutters with a brush, or is the general consensus that I should leave the brush on the hook and buy a power spray gadget? Thanks, Gina
