aluminum can crusher
I'm new here. It's my first post. Does anyone have a good idea for making your own can crusher. I'd like one to mount on wall by the container we put the cans in. Thanks ahead of time Nancy

A size 12 workboot works well too, as does a 9" sand tamper, but I think I like Dale's idea better, much more fun, and easier. Dale, how can you work in the construction field and not drink? I thought it was a job requirement.... Just kiddin' I gave it up years ago too! Ain't worth it anymore. Michael
If you took a little hunk of 4x4, cut it in half (or start with two little hunks of 4x4) and rigged up some way to have one smash into the other, that would work. But this is the kind of thing that's best purchased--Harbor Freight sells two different ones. One is a single-can press; the other is kind of a machine-gun press with a magazine that holds six cans. And they're both cheap--less than $10 apiece. -- --jmowreader
